Terms of Service

1. Scope of Services

Viewstiq Films provides video strategy, pre-production planning, production, post-production, editing, color, audio finishing, motion graphics, content packaging, and related creative services. Specific scope, timelines, deliverables, and pricing are defined in a proposal, statement of work, or written confirmation (“Project Agreement”).

Any services not expressly included in the Project Agreement are out of scope and may require a change order, revised timeline, and additional fees.

Creative Direction

You agree to provide timely feedback, reference materials, approvals, and access reasonably needed to perform the Services. Delays in client responses may shift milestones and delivery dates.

2. Estimates, Scheduling, and Revisions

Production schedules are reserved after confirmation of the Project Agreement and any required deposit. Dates may be held for a limited time and are not guaranteed until confirmed in writing.

Unless otherwise stated, revision rounds are limited to reasonable adjustments consistent with the approved creative direction. Substantial creative changes, new scripts, new footage requests, or re-edits that depart from approved direction may be billed at our standard rates.

Client Materials

If you supply logos, footage, brand assets, music, or third-party materials, you represent that you have the rights and licenses needed for the intended use.

3. Fees, Deposits, and Payment

Fees are set in the Project Agreement. Invoices are due according to the terms stated on the invoice or agreement. We may require a deposit before scheduling production or commencing work.

• Late payments may result in paused work, delayed delivery, or withholding of deliverables until payment is received.
• Taxes and third-party costs (e.g., talent, locations, permits, stock assets) may be billed separately unless included in writing.
• Rush work may incur additional charges based on availability and timeline compression.

4. Ownership, Licensing, and Credits

Unless otherwise specified in the Project Agreement, you receive a license to use the final deliverables for the purpose and channels described (e.g., website, paid ads, social media). Source files (project files, raw footage, working timelines) are not included unless explicitly purchased.

We may use non-confidential project excerpts for our portfolio, website, and promotional materials unless you request a written confidentiality restriction prior to production.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you cancel or reschedule, you may be responsible for fees already incurred, crew bookings, location holds, and other non-refundable costs. Deposits are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

We recommend confirming stakeholders, locations, and internal approvals before locking production dates to avoid avoidable rescheduling fees.

6. Delivery, Acceptance, and Archiving

Delivery formats and methods are defined in the Project Agreement. Upon delivery, you should review deliverables promptly and communicate any issues within a reasonable period. Unless otherwise stated, we may archive project files for a limited time and do not guarantee long-term storage of raw materials or project files.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Viewstiq Films disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or goodwill.

Our total liability for claims arising out of or related to the Services will not exceed the amounts paid by you for the specific project giving rise to the claim.

8. Confidentiality

If we agree in writing to confidentiality, we will treat non-public information you provide as confidential and use it only to perform the Services. You agree to do the same with any non-public information we provide.

9. Governing Terms

These Terms, together with any Project Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Viewstiq Films regarding the Services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
